Last night, the doorbell rang. Karen and Bill Lemmons dropped off dishes and silverware....and wash detergent. Merry Christmas to them, and one day I'll beg Karen to reveal where she gets the enormous amount of energy that compels her to be awake and working, when the rest of the world is asleep?????
Jeff and Cheryl Williams, our dear friends who have saved our kids' lives a number of times (exaggerated, but not so much!), dropped off a bag of goods and groceries. With two small kids in their house, and not a minute to spare, they have given.
And Bruce and Dyanna - adding to that turkey dinner, more groceries and household items.
To all our dear friends, we are thankful that you've dipped into your reserves to help us help Mimi Carpenter and her kids. Christmas 2009 will be one of abundance for them - for us, and for you all.
